When someone you don't know that well is sitting next to you...?

To be completely honest, it gets on my nerves when people do that. I don't like when people "hint" or beat around the bush about anything. I like to engage in conversation with anyone, even strangers but not when someone is acting dramatic to get attention. I don't do the sighing deal either when I'm upset. Now if I see someone crying I'll be the first one to walk up to them and ask what's wrong. I've given total strangers bear hugs just to lift their spirits. So if I see someone in distress and they're not going out of their way to purposely get attention, I'll WANT to comfort them.
