Why do you believe in god?

How can you believe that millions of people die to go to a better place? and how can you believe in somene that causes all this suffering? because one persons mistakes (adam+eves) shouldnt be controlling the rest or our eternity. theres all theese things with the christan anglican and episcopalian religoins that i ask my self.... why? so why do you believe in god or whatever you believe in? because i am seriously doubting him her or whatever it is that controls life down here.
