Mucus when i wipe my bottom (i am male)?

ok....lets get this all out on the table....back sometime last year i had really bad constipation and used an enema to relieve it...around the beginning of last summer my appendix burst and i had to have it removed...well afterwards i have had a small pain when i p gas or sit down...between my testicles and rectum....well about 3 days ago...i did not have to go to the bathroom at all....the next morning was the same but i sat there on the toilet and forced a bowel movement....since then my bowel movements have been pretty small...and when i wiped last nite there was mucus and it was dark...well i had another bowel movement today and the mucus was brownish...which could be from well you know whats brown that comes out of you....and this one was also small....i have not experienced any hurting or aching anywhere at all...no blood in my stool or anything.....what could be wrong...
