Does anyone remember this book... that related to soviet history??

I don't think its 1984... but who needs a better book than "One day in the Life" its very similar to "Mans Search for Meaning" by Viktor Frankel in the way Solzhenitsyn talks about how man must have control over his own life etc. (written from/ about a nazi death camp).
