Why did the healing crystal keep fallowinf her?

i had a question about the healing crystals, do they work cause when my older sister got one she threw it away. but when we moved we found it in one of her favorite bags . she ended up throwing it away three other times and it kept showing up out of no where, until we moved to Downey ,CA . and that was when in the second grade. Ok my real question is why did it keep fallowing her ?
