Caring for the umbilical cord.?

I'm at week 39 and will be induced at the end of next week if my daughter is not here. I was going over the bags that I had packed for the hospital to check them for like the tenth time when I remember something else I'll need something to put on her umbilical cord. I'm not really sure what though. This is my first child. So will the hospital provide a cream or an ointment for me to care for the umilical cord or is that something I need to purchase now and have ready in her bag?
